The sassafras hiking stick is carved in the great state of California. Each hiking stick is made from one solid piece of sassafras which makes it durable and light weight. The wood used in this stick comes from the single shoot of a sassafras tree that re-grows each year making it a fully renewable source of utilitarian art. A compass is included to help guide you through your trails and a leather strap to keep your walking staff at your side. Another accessory is a hand carved whistle to help with location in those thick forest trails. The sassafras starts at a length of 55 inches, but can be shortened if you ask us. Enjoy the outdoors!
